Drafts and sending changes to Shopify

Edits in Moddi are drafts. They are saved in Moddi straight away, but your Shopify store doesn't change until you send them.

Why drafts

• You can edit a lot, review it, and fix mistakes before customers see anything.
• AI results arrive as drafts too, so nothing written by AI goes live without you.

What a draft looks like

Changed cells are marked as pending. You can see how many changes are waiting and what they are before you send them.

Sending changes

When you're happy, send your changes to Shopify. Moddi sends them in the background in batches, so a large edit doesn't need you to wait. Each send is recorded in History.

Changes made in Shopify

If a product changes in Shopify while you have a draft on it, Moddi shows that change as coming from outside Moddi, so you can see what happened.
