Settings overview

Settings has its own menu down the side (a dropdown on a phone).

General

• Language: the language Moddi's menus and text are shown in. "Match my Shopify admin" follows your admin. English is the only language so far.
• Show the setup guide: turns the getting-started checklist on Home on or off.

Ready for Shopify

Choose what a record needs before it counts as ready, such as certain fields filled in, and whether their translations are needed too. Ready products show a green status in the grid. See "What does Ready for Shopify mean?".

AI writing

• Store voice: describe how your store sounds, and it's added to every AI task.
• Guidance for each task: alt text, SEO titles, product descriptions, SEO descriptions, translations and file names each have default guidance you can replace. Rules that keep results usable, like length limits, always apply.
• Glossary for translation: terms to keep or translate a fixed way.

Everything AI writes is a draft you review before it goes to Shopify.

Notifications

Turn on an email when a scheduled edit fails. It goes to your store's contact email for the first failure in a row, and every failure also shows in the app.
