What does Ready for Shopify mean?
Set what a product needs before it counts as ready, and find what's missing.

"Ready for Shopify" is your own checklist for a finished record. You decide which fields a product, or an asset, needs, and Moddi marks each record as ready or not.
Setting it up
Go to Settings, then Ready for Shopify. Choose the fields each record needs. For a field that can be translated, you can also require its translations.
What you see
- Ready records show a green status in the grid.
- A record that isn't ready lists what it's missing, for example a missing translation for a field in one language.
- The Ready for Shopify view shows only the ready products, and filters let you find the ones that aren't.
For files
In Assets, a file is ready when it has finished processing in Shopify and has a descriptive name. A "Not ready for Shopify" view lists the rest.
Why use it
It's a quick way to find incomplete products before a launch or a sale, and to check that AI and bulk edits have filled in everything you need.
